Acupuncture Program PRACTITIONER FOCUSSED & TAILOR MADE
This program focuses on acupuncture clinical study. The students
will be on a basic study schedule of 8 hours per day combined with Theory and Clinical practicum. Clinical hands on session at the
University teaching hospital’s acupuncture outpatient department. Generally, students will work in the clinic under the supervision of
an expert Chinese medicine doctor with a interpreter (one
interpreter or one doctor cover 1-4 English speaking delegates). Under supervision, students see a variety of patients and learn
Chinese medicine diagnosis, differentiation of syndromes, special techniques and recent research on acupuncture etc. Delegates may
observe or perform treatment.

BEIJING TONG REN TANG Founded in Kangxi 8 (Kangxi's reign of the Qing Dynasty, 1669), is a famous time-honored brand in traditional Chinese medicine (“TCM”) industry. During the first year of Yongzheng's reign (1723 A.D.), Tongrentang was made the Imperial Supplier of Chinese Medicine for Qing court and continued for 188 years.
SHANDONG UNIVERSITY OF TCM
Founded in 1958, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the provincial key universities and one of the seven major TCM universities in China.
The university is located in Jinan City. Its original site lies at the north foot of the beautiful Thousand-Buddha Mountain, covering an area of 146,666 square meters including a floor space of 157,000 square meters; the new site of the university is under construction, extending over an area of 11,148,666 square meters including a floor space of 480,000 square meters. The library owns a collection of over 825,300 volumes. In addition, the University is also chosen as the Education Base of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies.
