PEUGEOT BLUEHDi EURO 6 DIESEL ENGINESStemming from a world-famous diesel heritage, innovation and engineering excellence, Peugeot’s BlueHDi engines exclusively combine Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to deliver exceptional fuel economy and low CO2 emissions, alongside a driving experience that is rich in power and performance.

The BlueHDi engine range boasts the most effective technology on the market in terms of post-treatment of nitrogen oxides (NOx), as it is the only one to reduce NOx by up to 90%. A 3-stage cleansing process specifically targets pollutants to deliver the cleanest diesel engine possible. This excellent NOx reduction in turn optimises both CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. The DPF removes 99.9% of all particles.

LED DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS LED REAR LAMPS

Satellite Navigation: linked to the 7” colour touch screen, the system includes European mapping and comes 5 years of free software updates. Satellite Navigation is standard from level two Active 508 models.

Colour Reversing Camera: A camera located on the rear of the vehicle is lnked to the 7” colour touch screen. The system increases visibility and driver confidence when reversing. The Colour Reversing Camera is standard from level three Allure models.

LED Daytime Running Lights: All 508 models feature bumper mounted LED Daytime Running Lamps. These lights provide an eye catching signature and increase visibility during daylight hours. Full LED headlamps, available as standard from from GT Line models, offer excellent vision at night.

LED Rear Lamps: Completely the visual light signature, LED Rear Lamps give the 508 a visually appealing claw-effect light design. Standard on all 508 models, the LED Rear Lamps host 18 individual LED lights.

SMARTBEAM ASSISTANCE ELECTRIC, HEATED SEATS WITH MASSAGE & MEMORY FUNCTIONS

Smartbeam Assistance: Through the use of an intelligent camera that continuously analyses driving conditions, Peugeot Smartbeam Assistance automatically switches headlamps to full beam when conditions allow, or to dipped when on-coming traffic is detected. It is available as standard on GT Line, GT and RXH models.

Front seating: The 508 front seats in particular have been developed to deliver style, comfort, support and durability. From Allure levels, an electric 4-way seat adjustment (height, longitude, seat back and seat cushion angle), heated front seats with driver / front passenger electric lumbar adjustment comes as standard. Driver seat memory is offered on GT models, with a massage function on GT and RXH models.

COLOUR HEAD UP DISPLAY PEUGEOT OPEN & GO

508 Key Features

Colour Head Up Display: Standard on GT and RXH models, optional on Allure and GT Liner versions, the Colour Head Up Display delivers key driving information to the driver via a clear retractable screen in the driver’s line of sight; speed, cruise control speed, navigation directions. The screen can be adjusted for both angle and brightness, as well as folded away completely at any point.

Peugeot Open & Go: Using sensors mounted in the front and rear door handles, the 508 can be opened without moving the key from your pocket or bag. Once inside, a simple press of the Start Stop button is all that is required. Open & Go is standard on Allure, GT Line and GT models.

PANORAMIC CIELO GLASS ROOF MOTORISED TAILGATE

Panoramic Cielo Glass Roof: Standard on SW estate Allure, GT Line, GT models and and on the RXH bodytype, the Peugeot full length panoramic Cielo roof is a fixed glass roof that bathes the cabin in natural light. An electric roller blind is included that can stop in any one of 5 pre-set positions.

Motorised Tailgate: For increased convenience, a motorised tailgate opening and closing can be specified on SW or RXH models. The system can be operated from the key fob, from inside the vehicle using the dedicated button or from the tailgate. Options also include a load restraining net.

FIVE STAR EURO NCAP SAFETY RATING

A Five Star Euro NCAP Safety Rating: The Peugeot 508 range scored the maximum five stars in the stringent Euro NCAP Safety Rating. Anti-lock braking (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD), Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Traction Control (ASR), Dynamic Stability Control (CBC) and six airbags all work to provide the safest driving environment possible.
