PRESIDENTTwenty Five years ago our founders started Workrite Ergonomics in a garage in Marin County, California. Our company has grown from these humble roots in the technology capital of the world to become the North American leader for ergonomic furniture and accessories.

Over the years, we have seen many trends, products and competitors come and go, but we have always stayed true to our founders vision of creating a company with expertise and a focus on making workplaces healthier and more productive. We believe the products in this catalog are tools to help organizations create workplaces where employees and staff feel both appreciated and productive.

We are obviously pleased about the dramatic increase in interest related to Wellness and Ergonomics in the office, but that

interest has resulted in many new products and companies coming to market without the ergonomic knowledge or concerns for the user that we have! Workrite has always been able to provide quality solutions and outstanding value through focusing on the right tools and having the most experienced and best trained territory management team in the industry.

One stop shopping can be convenient on the surface but is rarely the best option for the customer. If pricing seems too good to be true, it probably is, and not all products are created equal. I encourage you to take the time to do the comparison and then ask yourself which product can best satisfy the needs of the customer. If a product doesnt do what you need for it to do and doesnt come with proven track record of support after the sale, you will likely have a disappointed customer on your hands.

Finally, I encourage you to look for the products that offer the greatest level of flexibility. We all know how quickly things change in the modern workplace - people come and go, buildings get renovated, technology gets updated, and the needs of organizations change over time. At Workrite we understand and embrace this need for change and have developed innovative products designed to easily adapt to the ever changing needs of the workplace and provide the greatest level of flexibility available in the market today.

LAMINATED WORKSURFACESWorkrites laminated worksurfaces feature a wide variety of popular Wilsonart high pressure decorative laminates and coordinated 3 mm edgeband. The core is constructed from 1.125" thick, 45 pound density industrial grade particleboard and is backed with high quality phenolic to ensure balanced panel construction and prevent warping over the life of the product.

Our worksurfaces are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and are the perfect finishing touch for any of Workrites height adjustable frame sets or bases.

Determining the correct size and shape of your worksurface is extremely important. Combining a Workrite worksurface with any height adjustable base requires 1" of clearance at each side and in the back of the worksurface to avoid pinching or scraping. All Workrite worksurfaces are manufactured to the dimensions required to provide these clearances.

Worksurfaces are pre-drilled with mounting locations for all frame sets and accessories, saving time and money during installation and creating perfectly aligned workstations every time. Joining kits are provided with all two piece worksurfaces.

Standard lead time for our laminated worksurfaces is 10 business days for quantities of 10 or less. Lead times for larger product orders will be provided upon receipt of the order.

All Workrite laminated work surfaces carry a 5 year warranty. Refer to the Terms & Conditions tab for warranty details.

Additional worksurface shapes and sizes are available through our Special Order Program. Special order laminates and edge treatments are subject to minimum order quantities and require extended lead times.

SIT STAND SOLUTIONSThe human body is not designed to remain in the same position for hours at a time. Finding the right sit-stand solution to address this need to move and allow the user to change position frequently throughout the day can be a challenge. There are many options available and it is important to fully understand the needs of the user prior to making a purchase decision.

Height adjustable workcenter solutions are the foundation for any ergonomically equipped workspace and can be the single most effective means of achieving flexibility, maximizing comfort and increasing productivity in any office environment.

Workrites product offering features the widest selection of design options in the industry as well as the flexibility to mix and match features to build the perfect workcenter for virtually any application or budget.

Table top sit-stand solutions provide a quick and efficient way to transform any ordinary fixed height desk into a more ergonomic sit-stand workspace. Workrites all-in-one ergonomic solutions offer a wide range of adjustability for lift, rotation and tilt.

The.following.details.should.be.taken.into.consideration.when.selecting.the.right.solution.for.any.application:The size and shape of the workspace will determine the optimal size and shape of the worksurface you select. For moving or height adjustable products, you should allow at least 1" of clearance at each side and in back of the worksurface to avoid pinch points and scraping. This means that the overall width of the worksurface will be 2" less than the width of the workspace and 1" less than the depth.

Knowing the type of equipment to be used is crucial when selecting the appropriate sit-stand solution. When selecting a non-electric workcenter such as a crank or counter-balance table the weight of the equipment to be placed on the worksurface will affect the amount of human force required to adjust the height of the work center. The more force required, the less ergonomic the solution.

All electric workcenters also feature a weight limit rating to ensure that the motor is not overworked and the workcenter moves efficiently throughout the life of the product. When comparing weight ratings it is important to clarify whether the weight rating includes the total weight of the worksurface plus the equipment to be used, or the payload capacity after the weight of the worksurface is taken into consideration. All Workrite weight limit ratings are for payload capacity.

Understanding the work to be performed and the types of accessories to be used are also key considerations. Workcenters have many different types of frame supports and structures and may not provide the clearances required for the installation of other key accessories such as adjustable monitor supports and keyboard trays. Workrite frames and supports are designed to accommodate a wide variety of accessories both above and below the worksurface.

The range of adjustability required is one of the most important considerations when selecting the right adjustable workcenter. BIFMA G1 2013 recommends a range of adjustability from 22.5" to 48.7" to accommodate the 5th to 95th percentile of the workforce. For example, any product with a worksurface that will not go below 24.5 from the floor will not allow 50% of the female workforce (up to 5 4 tall) to work in proper ergonomic position while seated. Workrite has multiple options available that achieve full BIFMA adjustability metrics as well as some that offer a more limited range of adjustability.

Important.Notes Workcenters ship unassembled and require simple hand tools to install. If using customers own worksurfaces, pre-drill pilot holes for all screws to ensure the most secure attachment. If installing a keyboard arm or track, the electric motor control box may need to be repositioned from its pre-drilled

BENCHING SOLUTIONSEssentia, Workrites newest and most exciting height adjustable workcenter, is now available for benching applications thanks to our patent pending dual platform foot design. The need to create collaborative work environments that optimize every square foot of space has changed the landscape of todays office. Unfortunately, these needs are often met at the expense of worker productivity and with products that restrict future flexibility.

Recognizing these challenges, we set out to develop a solution that would address these issues while enabling the creation of collaborative, open space environments.

The answer was simple.

Based on our most popular foot design, we created a patented pending dual platform foot and connector system that can easily convert individual workstations to a benching system with all of the essential components located just below the work surface, resulting in the most flexible and cost effective benching system available today. No more bulky frames, complex power distribution systems, or workcenters so large they are impossible to move.

*Not including seating area. We recommend allowing 42" additional space in front of each workcenter to accommodate seating.

Cascade.Counterbalance.Base.The Cascade counterbalance base is a great alternative to electric workcenters for areas where frequent adjustments are not required, or for any area where electric power may not be readily available. When properly adjusted, Cascade balances payloads from 0 to 85 pounds and adjusts quickly and smoothly to the desired height by simply pulling a mechanical trigger mechanism. Cascade will accommodate a wide range of rectangular worksurfaces, features a unique flat foot design, and is available in silver.

The HXL Crank adjusts from 25.5"43" and will accommodate the average male or female worker, making it a good solution for companies seeking limited height adjustability. It adjusts at a rate of 5.6 turns per inch even with more than 125 pounds of equipment on the worksurface. Solace.DesktopQuickly and economically converts an existing desk to a smooth and effortless sit-stand workstation. Solace Desktop ships fully assembled, no tools are required making this an ideal retrofit candidate. The compact footprint of the Solace Desktop, easily fits onto a 24" deep desk with room for personal equipment. The large primary work surface includes a grommet for cable management and is expansive enough to accommodate an added Workrite Monitor Arm or two 24" monitors.
