IMAGE: Imagine Making a Girl Empowered April 25, 2015 A special thank you to Ms. Syndey Brasseuex for a marvelous job of putting the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries 2nd girl empowerment

program together. You invested a lot of time, energy, creativity and most importantly you shared a part of yourself. We are truly thank-

ful to have such dedicated volunteers like yourself. Below are a few pictures from the IMAGE program that took place on April 25th.

There were activity stations from hair care, facials, charm bracelets and more.

Thank you Mrs. Kimberly Durham for being our guest speaker for the day. We appreciate you taking the time to leave footprints in our

hearts. Thank you for sharing the motivational tips below! Take a look at more pictures from the event by following the link. You may

also check out pictures from our first IMAGE program held in 2013. Enjoy!

Focus on accomplishments that have to do with who you are as a person, not what you look like.

Each day, say one thing you like about yourself.

Do things that make you happy.

Surround yourself with people who support you and make you feel good about yourself.

Love yourself the way you are right now, not for what or who you could be.

You don’t need validation from anyone else to feel good about yourself.
