TYPE OF CAMP: Residential camp for adults ages 18 years old and up with both a physical and cognitive
disability. Description: Campers enjoy a week of relaxation and socialization with newly acquired and long
standing friends. This week of camp is much like a relaxing vacation for 60 campers filled with live music
events, casino night, pontoon rides on our 110 acre lake, cooking classes, and lounging by the pool.

TYPE OF CAMP: This camp is a weekend camp for campers ages 4-19 whom are actively grieving the loss
of a loved one (parent, step-parent, or sibling). Good Grief Camps focus is on grief activities, coping skills,
and developing lasting friendships with others whom are grieving. Volunteers are trained in grief and how to
work with children. Each child is paired with a mentor many of whom are military service volunteers.
A seminar focusing on grief for the surviving adults coincides with Good Grief Camp. Professional
childcare is available to children 3 and under.
