Good hydra on during the hot summer months helps you and your child stay healthy, happy and ready to play! Children need plenty of fl uids as they are smaller and sweat less than adults, making them more likely to overheat in warmer temperatures. Children are also busy playing and exploring the outdoors so remember to off er your child water frequently.

The total amount of water your child needs comes not only from drinking water, but also from the water found in food and beverages. Although there are plenty of choices on the market when it comes to beverages, many of them are high in sugar, fat and /or caff eine. Refreshing, cool water is the best op on to keep hydrated! You can always jazz it up with a slice of lemon or lime.
