Making and Assembling the Quilt1. Refer to the Assembly Diagram throughout.

2. Sew the 322" fabric C border strips to the long sides and the 272" fabric C border strips to the top and bottom of the center panel. Press seam allowances toward the fabric C strips.

3. Join one 32" square each of fabric G, fabric E and fabric F to make a G-E-F border unit. Press seam allowances in one direction. Repeat to make eight G-E-F border units.

4. Join four G-E-F border units to make a side border strip. Repeat to make two side border strips. Press seam allowances in one direction.

5. Sew a side border strip to opposite long sides of the bordered center panel. Press seam allowances toward the fabric C border strips.

6. Join one 32" square each of fabric G, fabric F and fabric E to make a G-F-E border unit. Press seam allowances in one direction. Repeat to make six G-F-E border units.

7. Repeat step 4 with three G-F-E border units to make two border strips. Sew a 32" fabric D square to each end of each strip. Press seam allowances toward the fabric D squares. Sew these strips to the top and bottom of the bordered center panel. Press seam allowances toward the fabric C border strips.

8. Sew the 422" fabric B border strips to the long sides and the 442" fabric B border strips to the top and bottom of the bordered center panel to complete the quilt top. Press seam allowances toward the fabric B border strips.

Finishing the Quilt9. Layer quilt top with batting and backing. Quilt in the

ditch of seams and as desired. Bind to �nish the quilt.
