APPLICATIONS
Thecombinationoftelephony,conventionalradio,MPT,andDigitalRadiosupportsarangeofconsoleapplications.
Small Control RoomsTheDCS-5020isaneconomicsolutionforsmallcontrolroomsforpublicsafety,oilandgas,mining,events,industry,portsandharbours.Itbringsmanyofthefeaturesofalargecontrolcentreintothesmallercontrolroomenvironment.Theintegratedradioandtelephonefunctionalityallowstheoperatortoperformbothcalltakinganddispatchfunctions.Itcanbeemployedasanincidentcontrolroomwithoutimpactingontheroleoftheprimarycontrolcentre.
Mobile Command CentreMobilecommandcentrescanbeestablishedforspecialevents,accidentsorothermajorincidentsbydeployingtheDCS-5020asatransportablepackage.Theoperatorcanhaveaccesstomultipleradioworkinggroups,conventionalradiochannelsortelephonecircuitstomanageincidentpersonnel.Fortrulytransportableapplications,thetelephoneportsmaybefittedwithGSMterminalsformobiletelephonyservice.Digitalradioconnectivityisdonethroughanumberoffixeddigitalradiosratherthandirecttotheinfrastructure,providingaquickdeployablesolution.
