GC-100 CANNONBALL GATE CLOSER

GC-100 – Cannonball gate closer. – Includes six PR-1-8 (8") chain links. – Includes two PR-4 surface mounts. – Includes two PR-2 S-hooks. 1 1/4" wood screws provided. The canonball gate closer is designed for use on the inside of a gate, which opens outwardly. The mount can be installed on an auxilliary post as shown or on a hinged fence post. The mount on the post should be approximately 36" from the ground. Open the gate 90 degrees and extend the chain, cannonball and S-hooks to the mount location on the gate. Make sure the cannonball is at least 3" from the ground when the gate is fully closed. One may need to place the mount higher on the gate, add or subract a link to adjust the ball swing height. A stop block (door stop) will need to be installed on the latch post.

(The mount can be placeddirectly on the hinge post.)
