The participants of the discussion - representatives of the Russian and German expert community - will discuss the project implementation in the creation of globally competitive production of the new generation, which corresponds to all stages of product life cycle: from the training of students and the acceleration of start-ups development, project planning of high-tech products, implementation of engineering computations and virtual simulations - up to the production of prototypes using advanced manufacturing technologies, in production chain and further support of the products.

As part of the track, a presentation will be held on the results of the joint activities of the SPbPU departments and the German partner SAP SE, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, Siemens AG, leading German universities, leading automotive companies and other representatives of the high-tech industries - held. Best practice examples in the area of the development of original technologies, designs, device technology with the use of advanced manufacturing technologies are presented, as well as other fields of Russian-German interaction are discussed.
