Established in Delhi, SPARSH YOG INDIA (SYI) came into existence on 19 February 2008.

SYI is an earnest endeavor of like-minded people dedicated to create a stress free society.

SYI addresses issues, which it finds most urgent and takes it up as its

Project.

Currently two of its projects are successfully underway, both addressingissues - critical and important.

Sri Sri Sparsh - Tree Plantation Project Jyoti Sparsh - Street Children Project

Tree Plantation Project

SYI flagged off this project on 23 March 2008 byplanting 208 saplings of Ashok, Amla,

Pomegranate (Anar), Neem and Lime.

SYI has also tied up with other NGO’s for large-scale plantation drives and looks forward tomore such association with like-mindedorganizations.

Till date in both Delhi and NCR, a total of 19,555

saplings have been planted. The survival ratebeing almost 100%. This is a continuous projectand is the organizations small effort to tackle the

effects of global warming.

Three months down the line all the

children show remarkable change in

their habits. The once dirty children now

come to SYI’s make shift school and

eager to learn.

Infact the not-so-fortunate parents of

these children readily came forward to

understand and participate in SYI’s

Street Children Project

Two of our children have been admitted

in a government school this academic

year after learning the basics from us.

It is gratifying to note that SYI’s singular

effort brought awareness amongst it’s

neighbors who extended their support in

cash and kind.
