You can use age to ask someone’s age whenever it’s their birthday. Use both age and where you live when you’re doing the register.

Vivo en…• Give out large maps to pupils to share in twos/groups of 4. • Each pupil is given a set of plastic counters. You could do this

by giving each pupil one colour of counter. • The teacher plays the audio clips from the next slide. • Pupils listen and have to place the counter on the place in Spain

which they hear in the recording. • Check answer on the map afterwards. • If using different colours, they could then count them

afterwards to see who got the most correct.• You could also follow up this activity with asking “Dónde está +

the name of a city and pupils would have to mark it on the map.
