Findings

Garbage bins are provided near every corner of the street, but they were not aware of wet garbage

and dry garbage. Many times, the garbage in the bins are being burned. Bosch Ltd. In association

with MICO forum conducts a medical camp twice in a month on Tuesdays. People throw the

wastewater on the road and this was causing the water ponds in front of houses, as there was no

proper drainage system. Which increased the mosquitos and houseflies.

Suggestions We have screened movies on importance of segregation of dry and wet waste and suggested to

partition the dustbins into two half's and coloring from outside to differentiate. We created

awareness on the effects of houseflies in the health issues, provided some housefly straps and some

of the houses as implemented housefly nets. To avoid the water clogging of wastewater we proposed

a drainage plan and approached Ashoka Buildcon for technical suggestions.
