Andalucía has the greatest number of inhabitants. It is considered one of the most attractive for visitors. Its capital is Sevilla.

Best known apart from the capital, Barcelona, is of course the Mediterranean coast, Costa Brava, with ample beaches and mild climate, doubtlessly a first rate touristical attraction.

Comunitat Valenciana

This Autonomous Community has a fantastic climate and more than 500 kilometers of coast. It is one of the country's most touristic area.Its capital is Valencia.

Murcia is characterized by its old history of commerce and agriculture. The capital is Murcia.

Castilla y Leon is not only the largest region of Spain, but as well the largest region of all the European Union. Its capital is Valladolid.

The community of Madrid is located on the geographic centre of the Iberian Peninsula. Its capital is Madrid, which is also the capital of Spain since 1562.

Illes Balears The Balearic Islands are an archipelago in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. The four largest islands are (from largest to smallest): Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. Its capital is Palma de Mallorca.

Castelldefels is our town and it is in the Baix Llobregat comarca, in the province of Barcelona, in Catalonia. Its population is 60.572.

The town is famous for its long beach. During the summer, many people from Barcelona and the countryside visit it.You can visit the castle and the beach.

At night you you can do different activities: have a drink at the bar area called Playafels, stroll along the broad streets of the city or enjoy the seascape.

In our town we have leisure and culture; you can visit the town library, shop at the Ànec Blau mall, or go to the cinema.

Ins. Les MarinesIns. Les Marines is a state secondary school that was built in 1982 as an extension of another school. In 1983 it became an independent school, the first secondary school in our town

Ins. Les Marines Currently, a group of 50 teachers, educate about 500 students aged between 12 and 18.Les Marines is a name related to the area of Castelldefels where the school is located.
