    Spain (Barcelona) Camp from 28 July3 August 2013 (8 days10 to 18 years old)

    Running International residential summer programs since 1999, the company has a great

    knowledge of running camps and making students enjoy their stay in Spain as much as

    they benefit from learning Spanish or English, and gaining knowledge about Spanish

    culture.

    Camps concept program is unique: as they mix international students (more than 25

    different nationalities mainly from US and UK) living with 60% of Spanish students.

    Students will have Spanish or English lessons during the day, as well as, sports, cultural

    activities, touristic visits and excursions.

    Group leaders (1 every 8-12 students) will provide 24 hours supervisions.

    Camp hasresidential programs in July and August all over Spain.

    Location

    Barcelona summer camp is located just outside of the city center in a privileged area

    of Barcelona where students will stay in lovely chalets surrounded by vast green

    areas. It boasts easy access to the city, because of to its proximity to the metro

    station.

    Facilities

    The summer camp in Barcelona consists of a modern residence where students willboth stay and attend their language classes. Camp participants will enjoy luminous

    and nicely-sized dormitory rooms, as well as a spacious garden/terrace, sports

    facilities, a dining hall and numerous common areas: game room, TV room,

    computer room, study room, etc.

    Capacity: 150 students

    Accommodation

    The students in the camp who participate in the residential program will stay in theresidence dormitories, which consist of 4 students per rooms, all of which are

    exterior and have a private bathroom.

    Age groups

    Camp group 1: 5 to 10 years old

    Camp group 2: 9 to 13 years old

    Camp group 3: 14 and 15 years old

    Camp group 4: 16 to 18 years old

    Residential Stay

    The Residential Stay embodies the essence of the camps summer language

    philosophy: by living, studying, playing, and practicing languages together 24 hours

    / day in a totally multicultural environment, campers will learn interpersonal and

    linguistic skills to last a lifetime. When they choose this signature option, Spanish

    and international students are only separated during their morning language

    classes. They'll experience everything else together, from morning wake-up to

    sports, art workshops, recreational activities, excursions, meals and more. It's the

    perfect recipe for making life-long friends from all over the world!

    Summer Camp Activity Program

    Summer camp programming is designed to ensure that there's never a dull moment

    between the time campers wake to the time they go to bed.

    After morning language classes let out for the day, the afternoons and evenings are

    packed with a variety of activities, all designed be both age-appropriate and fun!

    Camp divides the summer camp activity program into three categories: recreational

    activities, cultural workshops and camp trips. By participating in so many different

    types of activities, campers never stop having fun!

    Recreational Activities

    What better way tolearn Spanish in Spain, with a fully immersive activity based

    around the Spanish language. Here's just a sampling of the recreational activities

    campers enjoy on a daily basis, whether in the afternoons or at night. Recreational

    activities may include the following but are not limited to this list:

    Contests and treasure hunts

    Nighttime shows: music, theater, talent, costume

    Traditional camp games

    Theme nights: Cowboys and Indians, 60s, Medieval Times

    Camp discos / dances

    Night games Day Games and Competitions

    Counselors / Coaches

    Camp carefully selects its coordinators, directors, and monitors (Spanish for

    counselor or coach) based on their experience, expertise and, above all,

    dedication to the students. Staff is made up of native Spaniards, 90% of whom

    speak English and other languages. The vast majority returns year after year, all

    united by the same goal: to make your daughters or sons summer the most

    enjoyable possible!

    Camp DirectorBesides the executive directors of camp, the Summer Camp Director holds the

    highest level of responsibility and works closely with each camp's coordinators and

    counselors.

    Students are divided by age into three categories: Kids, Juniors and Seniors. Each

    category will have a Coordinator working closely with their group of counselors to

    develop and supervise all of the summer camp activities and sports and to ensure

    that each student makes the most of their stay.

    One counselor is assigned to each group of 8-12 students. These counselors spend 24hours per day with their group, acting as mentors and tutors as well as taking care

    of every personal need or concern that each student may have.

    The Rest of Camps Team

    Logistics and language course professors are extremely qualified.

    PRICE INCLUDES:

    Application and enrolment fees. 20 Spanish or English lessons per week (1 lesson = 45 min.).

    Accommodation in the Summer Camps dormitory hall: single room in Madrid (private

    bath), double in Salamanca (shared bath), triple in Valencia (private bath) and quad in

    Barcelona (private bath).

    Full board accommodation (3 meals a day).

    Books and course materials.

    Internet access.

    Sports and activities.

    The mentioned excursions.

    24-hour assistance and supervision by group leaders.

    Health insurance.

    Laundry service once a week.

    Airport pick-up from the airport (2 ways).

    Leader will be placed in single room in Barcelona (private bath).
