Spain has a mixed economy, advantages are that it can be easy to maintain also the market can still set prices without government influence. Disadvantages are that business people have to find markets for their own products also, they can’t control the taxes they pay.

One well known company that does business in Spain is the Coca-Cola Company. They sell mainly soft drinks in addition to water and sports drinks. The company was founded in 1894 when the first batch was made.

Another major brand name that does business in Spain is Nike. They sell shoes and sports equipment and clothing. The company was founded in 1972.

Spain’s economy isn’t doing bad but isn’t doing good either. Their unemployment is fairly high, there GDP growth is slowing, but still increasing, recent political transitions have caused the GDP slow down.
