Current challenges/opportunities
• Tether reel mechanics are still a major problem – it stymied NASA too so I guess we don’t feel
too ashamed…• Some problems with noisy sensor
– using low-pass filter seems to have fixed it?• We’ll need to rotate the base (table) to
excite significant out-of-plane motion
