Space is a series of planets and stars, there are about 400 billion stars in the milky way and there are nine planets in are galaxy.The biggest planet is Jupiter

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system also it the fifth planet from the sun. Jupiter orbits the sun every 11.86 earth years (or 4,332). It is the brightest in the night sky when it reaches opposition to the sun

Mars is the second to smallest planet in the solar system and the fourth from the sun.It is described as the red planet by the roman god of war. Mars takes 686.971 earth days to orbit the sun

Venus

Orbiting the sun every 224.7 earth days Venus is the second planet from it. It is named after the roman goddess of love and beauty. Venus is classed as Earths sinister planet due to there similar size, gravity and bulk composition

Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and the second in the solar system. Saturn got its name from the roman god Saturn. Saturn orbits the sun every 29.4 earth days. There is also a ring round Saturn

Mercury

It is the smallest planet in the solar system. It orbits the sun once in 88 earth days, The Planet got its name from the roman god Mercury! Due to Mercury's orbit lies between earths orbit (as does Venuses) it can be seen in the sky as a star in the morning or evening

Pluto is commonly known as the dwarf planet and is the 9th planet from the sun. It orbits the sun in 248.09 years. Pluto was discovered in 1930 by a very fortunate accident. It is also the only planet that hasn’t been visited be a spacecraft
