SP-20SP-30

SP-30 is a light sheet piler and needs only low hydraulic oilflow which makes it adequate to backhoe tractors.

This model has all features of the Movax Sheet Piler in a compact size. Ideal unit for lighter sheet piling when sur-rounding environment demands gentle working methods.

The design of sheet piler SP-E makes it suit-able for wheel excavators. Vibra house of SP-E is lighter compared to other models. This increases the stability of excavator. Also the demanded hydraulic power is within the usual limits of the middle-class excavators.

Side-grip technic demands a precise control of the driving movements. This can be reached by using the automatic steering system.

Four shaft vibra construc-tion, directional hitting and heavy duty design makes the SPH-80 an efficient sheet piler.

Directional hitting reduces ground vibration to a lower level than in the same size conventional vibratory driver.

Needed oilflow of 240 liters/min at 280 bar and weight of 2400 kg requires a 35 t excavator.

SPH-80

SP-F piler is a two shaft, vibratory based sheet piler which has a proven vibra technology with a stronger built structure. Robust desing and suitability to under 30 ton excavator makes this model popular.

F -model´s durability is based on strenghtened vibra housing and U-frame desing. Lubrica-tion of the vibra-shaft´s bearings is ensured by oil-pump.

Compared to the E-model SP-F can handle big-ger sheet piles due to its broader and stronger jaw construction compeared to E-model.

SP-20 + Tube ClampsSP-30 + Tube Clamps

Standard SP-30 can be used for driving tubes and wooden poles with additional tube clamps. Maximum diameter for tubes/poles is 300 mm.

These clamps are designed to work with variable diameter of wooden poles from 200 to 300 mm.

Gripping force of the clamps can be adjusted for an optimal grip without damaging the pile or the wooden pole.

These models are based on the techno- logy of SP-E two-shaft vibratory piler. Tube driver differs from sheet piler in the design of the vibra house and the side grip which is specially shaped for the tubular piles. Basic diameter is 630 mm which can be reduced using additional reducers.

Gripping force can be adjusted for an optimal grip without damaging the pile or the wooden pole.

SPH-80W is a tube driver based on the technology of SPH-80 sheet piler. Its side grip is spe-cially shaped for gripping tubular piles.

SPH-80W can pick, lift, locate, drive and extract tubes up to 630 mm in diameter. With an ad-ditional top hitter on the bottom jaw of the tube driver also the very last meter of the pile can be driven.

Picture on the left: tubes for supporting a pipeline on the sea shore are driven by SPH-80W. Also the tube holders on the top of the piles are lifted with same Movax using the bottom jaw.

Standard tube size is 630 mm as in the upper picture left .

For all the other sizes there are the tube reducers available in diameters 50 - 600 mm.

The reducers are attached to the basic jaws as shown in a lower picture left.

Tube jaw reducers

Excavator operator has a challenging job to drive a pile vertically by keeping the pile on the linear movement. This requires the control of three different movements (main boom, stick boom and bucket cylinder) simultaneously. At the same time the angle of the pile is very difficult to see from the cabin of the excavator as a side view of the pile cannot be directly seen.

Movax Automatic Steering System is developed to solve this problem. The main principle is that the operator con-trols one movement and automatic steering system takes care of the two remaining movements. This results to a linear movement of the pile.

1. Pick the sheet pile by using the 4th jaw of Movax (pictures 1, 2, 3).

INSTALLATION AND TRAINING

Operating with Movax is challenging itself –not to mention when aiming to achieve the best performance with it and at the same time avoid all problems. As Movax is a unique machine, every operator has to be well trained in its use.When installing Movax, service engineers provide customer´s opera-tor with the required operator training. It is also possible to organise operator- or any extra training for example in Unisto Oy´s premises in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The duration of such training is 3-5 days, depending on the program and customer´s needs, and includes both technical and practical training. If you want to know more, please con-tact Unisto Oy or your local dealer.

Accessories

Powerpack provides extra oil-flow for the excavator and thus allows the excavator to be used with a bigger Movax model than without it. For example, under 30 ton excava-tor can be suitable for SPH 80 with Power Pack.

Standard tube clamps sizes are available in diameters 60 mm, 90 mm, 115 mm, 140 mm, 170 mm, 190 mm, 220 mm.Basic tube clamp size (also the biggest) is 220 mm. Other sizes are combinations of the basic clamp (220 mm) and a reducing part 220-190, 220-170, 220-140, 220-115, 220-90 or 220-60.

Compacting plate enables the Movax to be used as a deep compactor.

Practical solution for deep compacting, for example slopes.

Adapter plate is needed for connecting the Movax Side-Grip to different excava-tors. Adapters are taylored for different pin connectors and quick couplers.
