drawn together (from diverse denominations) with a passion to see the kingdom of the Lord

Jesus and our dear Father established on earth. Our Hearts are filled with deep-rooted compassion for the lost souls in our nations and we continuously give ourselves to the course of liberating them from the gross

darkness and deprivation that has enslaved them for several ages. Through the immense support of our dear partner, The Holy Spirit, we are making good progress in the calling,

Sowers has reached over 32 tribes in 6 nations in 13 years and has over 20 chapters

in 5 nations.

SOWERS REACH-OUT STRATEGIES (DETAILS)

1. Field OutreachesThis includes all forms of on-field evangelical activities employed by Sowers chapters, zones and individuals to take the gospel to unreached and/or under-evangelized places. The objectives of our field outreaches is to win souls from people groups that has not yet heard the Gospel or still has only a few converts among them. Our soul winning effort is never completed until we have raised a missionary or missionaries from among them to reach their nation.We have Holiday, National and FMT Outreaches – plan to attend one near you.

2. Sowers Discipleship School (SDS)An open school for Christians, run as a Distance Learning Program. It seeks to develop the believer in the knowledge of the cause they have been called into, that they may know the truth of their calling, their rights and their duties in the Kingdom.

SDS has 5 levels: Believers Basic Course (BBC), Christian Maturity Course (CMC), Leadership Development Course (LDC), Christian Missionary Program (CMP) and a final never-ending development program for the now Christian General called: Pastoral Care Program (PCP) – it is in simple term a mentorship program for every SDS raised minister of the gospel that allows them to be continuously guided by a mentor in the field of the service.

SDS is not a traditional school system. Every volunteer Field Faculty commits to raising 12 disciple who may grow into becoming field ministers in his life time. SDS Board provides teaching materials and other necessary supports to field faculties to ensure their labors of love are continually fruitful.Join us!

Sowers Medical Team Network (Sowers MTN)The Sowers MTN is a group of Christian Medical Professionals who has a passion for taking the gospel to the unreached and under-evangelized parts of the Earth through the provision of free medical services thereby showing them the love of Christ and opening the way for the gospel to take root amongst the people.

4. Sowers Volunteers MissionsThe Sowers as a ministry creates opportunities for individuals to get involved in short, medium, long term and special missions programs. These programs offers great Spiritual experiences for the participants and serves a great source of blessing for Church growth to the benefiting missionary field/organization.

SOWERS VOLUNTEER MISSIONS Chapter Birthing/Re-enforcement

Opportunities abound for Sowers members to volunteer their time in assisting to start new chapters in a secondary school, tertiary institution, city or country or to strengthen an existing chapter. This project is executed in collaboration and under the supervision of the Sowers Ministry Department.

Church Impact Program

This program offers Sowers members the opportunity to invest their time and spiritual gifts in helping a missionary Church, Fellowship or Bible Study Group to grow and make better impacts in their communities. This program teaches local missionary groups to apply the “Purpose Driven Church” approach to reach their community and the “Sowers Discipleship School” to grow their members in the knowledge of the faith.

Carpenter’s Mission (Professional/Vocational Mission)

Sowers members can volunteer to use their professional and vocational skills to develop and promote the causes of the Kingdom in the mission field in short, medium or long term missionary programs

5. Missionary Support SchemesSowers has several ways of supporting the work of missionaries on the field. These support programs has helped many missionaries to continue with their vital assignments without having to quit before driving to fruition.

MISSIONARY SUPPORT SCHEMES Field Missionary Stipends Payment Scheme

Sowers CEC, Chapters, Zones and individual members adopt and support Field-based Missionaries by paying them monthly stipends to financially support their families and their work of ministry.

Missionary-Kids Educational Support SchemeSowers will provide financial assistance to send kids of missionaries based in the field to schools where they can access good quality education so they don’t feel disadvantaged by reason of their parents’ calling. This scheme will kick-off for the first time in Northern-Fields after the commissioning of the new Missions School.

On-Field Capital Projects Support Scheme: Sowers initiate and supports capital projects that are deemed necessary to assist in opening up a field to the gospel or on the leading of the Holy Spirit as a show of love.e.g. schools, hospitals, church buildings, cottage industries, motor bikes/cars/trucks, etc

6. School Outreaches (Cfi)Through the Student Fellowships in Secondary & Junior schools Sowers brings the gospel of our Lord Jesus to pupils in our schools, making disciples of them before the kingdom of darkness converts them, baptizing and teaching them to observe the gospel of Jesus.

The school outreach runs a discipleship program based on the SDS system through its Crusader Fellowship International (Cfi) established in public schools.

The school outreach program depends on Volunteer services of corps members, students, interns, etc

7. Bible MissionsThe Holy Bible has been a source of truth, great knowledge and salvation for many centuries. We partner with publishers and distributors to make copies of the Holy Bible available to unreached and under-evangelized people in their *first language that they may have access to the good news and study for themselves.

10. Charity MissionsThis is a love & help ministry of the Sowers focused on sharing the love of Jesus with the hurting, needy and under-privileged.

It is important to note that Sowers does not carry out Charity Missions outside missionary fields or singly without accompanying it with soul winning and/or discipleship.

VOLUNTEER NETWORKS

Sowers Prayer Force Team of individuals who pray round the clock on a daily watch for the Sowers Ministry, members, projects, leadership and the ministry of the Holy Spirit on Earth. To join the chain, contact [email protected]

IN 2014… 21 Field Mission Outreaches in 2014 – we had several rural

outreaches in the form of Holiday Missions, Field Mission Trainings and Chapter Outreaches to local neighbouring fields

Operation Northern Storm [Radio Broadcast] – we are broadcasting salvation messages, discipling muslim coverts & building the faith of persecuted Christians on air. We reach over 20 million listeners weekly and many call in to declare how the messages is impacting their lives. We may not be able to go to every part of the islamic north in person but the radio waves enters those high walls and many who yet bow at the mosques – only bow with their heads to escape persecution but bows with their hearts and prayers to God in Jesus’ Name. Many more broadcasts will be launched as the Lord opens the doors to us.

Operation Northern Storm [Mission School Project] – we are building a Missions School in the North under the care of a local Miangwa and a Meguzawa Missionary. Our vision is to raise a generation of Northern Christians seasoned as scholars, full of wisdom, honed in leadership skills and full of the Holy Spirit and positioned to defend and promote the gospel cause across the region in any circumstance. The Mission School project is co-joined with a Farm Project designed to provide funding support to the school. 21

IN 2014… International Missions Conference 2014 – we held our International

Missions Conference in May 2014. Missionaries were assembled from over 21 mission fields to be fed in the word of God, renewed and revived. Glory to God we had an awesome revival experience.

Field Missionary Support – across the target fields, Sowers Chapters continue to finance and support field missionaries to ensure they keep on focusing on the work and bearing fruits. Motorbike was provided for Benin Rep Missionaries among the Gafulanis for SDS Bible Study Group meetings holding in remote villages; Stipends are being paid to the full time missionaries; and missionary schools received books for the pupils.

SDS Field Faculty Trainings – we went to the hinterlands training indigenous Christians on how to use Sowers Discipleship School materials to raise disciples and send more out into the field for the harvest. Amonsgt these were teachers, pastors and evangelists who could not afford a copy of the Holy Bible and the Sowers Bible Missions project catered to their needs.

There is more happening daily. Sowers is touching lives daily and transforming the nations one soul at a time. Glory be to God!

Sowers Leadership structure includes Chapter Executives, Field/ Zonal Executives, The National Executive Committee (made up of all past/ servingChapter, Field, Zonal & Central Executives) – the NEC only meets quarterly And provides the framework for the operations of the general body.

The Sowers Central Executive Committee (Sowers CEC) shoulders the Responsibility of running the vision and coordinating the affairs of the body.The CEC is made up of professionals, entrepreneurs, ministers of the GospelAnd parents. Meet our CEC members:

Director of Administration, Rev. Onum & Ivuoma EmeleRev. Onum Iyke is an ordained Presbyterian Clergy, an in-depth teacher of the word, a writer, a Nigerian National Development enthusiast, and CEO, IdeaStreams. He is the lead contributing author to the SDS manuals. Mummy Ivy is an IT Business Strategist. She was Head, Matrix & Strategy at Computer WareHouse Group before taking up consultancy.Rev. Onum & Ivy are blessed with 2 kids: Chimanda & Benjamin. They coordinate the affairs of the CEC and Sowers Leadership.

SOWERS CECDirector of Ministry, Onyemaechi & Ada OnyekpaOnyema is currently the Head of IT @ Olaniwun Ajayi LP, Banana Island, Lagos. He is a computer securities expert and a seasoned system administrator. Ada is a Public Health expert and Nollywood Actress. They are responsible for Chapters & Membership growth. They also coordinate the operation of the Chapters and Zones. They are blessed with a daughter. They are active members of Christian Pentecostal Mission (CPM).

Director of Missions, Salvation & Kachi AliborSalvy is the CEO of Syscomptech, Nigeria’s leading VSAT & Satellite broadcast services provider. Kachi is a Client Advisor at the AB MFB, Lagos. They are responsible for coordinating all Missionary projects and programs of the Sowers. They are blessed with 2 sons, Christopher Cherub & Melchizedek. They are active members of Gospel Pillars Church (GPC).

Director of Finance & Partnership, Uche & Ada OnyebuchiUche is a seasoned programmer and entrepreneur. He is currently the IT Head of PAL Pensions. Ada is a Framework Change Leader @ Ashoka Anglophone West-Africa, an international Social Enterprise funding agency. They are responsible for relating with Sowers Partners and financial administration of the ministry. They are blessed with 2 kids: Chidiebube & Hephziba. They are active members of Olivet Bible Church.

SOWERS CECDirector of Sowers Medical Team Network, Dr. Chibueze & Chinwe Udo

Dr. Bubu is a Resident Doctor in Training @ Federal Medical Centre Owerri. Chinwe is a Chattered Accountant and Corporate Administrator at St. Vincent Specialist Hospital. They administer the affairs of the Sowers MTN and coordinates all Sowers Medical Mission outreaches. They are blessed with a son, David. They are active members of the Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel).

Director of Prayer, Redemption & Elfrida Anayanwu

Redy is a specialist VSAT engineer. He is the NOC Manager at Syscomptech, Nigeria’s leading VSAT & Satellite Broadcast service providers. Elfrida is a Customer Care Agent to MTN Nigeria. They are responsible for Sowers Prayer Mission projects, coordination of the Sowers Prayer Force and maintaining of Spiritual oversight over the entire ministry. They are blessed with a daughter, Chinamerem Rejoice Adaeze. They are active members of Daystar Christian Centre.

Director of Communications, Favour Madu-Umoren

Mummy Favour is the CEO of Favision Nigeria Ltd, a brand analyst and extraordinary entreprenuer. She’s the founder of Favision Nigeria Ltd, Nigeria’s leading vinyl distributors. She is the chairperson of the Sowers Editorial Board, Brand consultant, and publisher. She manages the public image of the ministry. She’s an active member of The Later Rain Assembly.
