Section 1-Product description 1.1 Product description
Motors for submersible pump sets indicated in the standard IS 9283 are those type of motor which are used with submersible motor for bore hole and open well pumps handling clear, cold and fresh water at temperature not exceeding 33 deg cent. It is a motor which is completely filled with clear water or oil or is emulsion of water and oil. It is a motor where stator is encapsulated and filled with insulating compound. The remaining portion is filled with water or oil. It is a motor where winding as well as remaining space within the motor is filled with air or Suitable grade of oil. This motor are coupled with submersible pump sets are used in bore hole to lift and pump the water where normally other motors would not work.
