History of the Southern African Endourology Society

• The inaugural meeting of the SAES was held at the SA Urology Association meeting in the Drakensburg in August 2008.

• The launch of the SAES signified a new commitment in the development in minimally invasive surgery in Urology in Africa.

• The Society represents all African countries, and has members from numerous African countries.

• 2010 – Durban, South Africa• 2011 – Host and organize the WCE 2016• 2012 – Pietermaritzburg – South Africa
