• Development of Quality Assurance systems linked to international standards, covering courses delivered online
• Recognition of educational and professional qualifications across countries

Brisbane CommuniquéPoints of Agreement
• Supported the Australian proposal to make the forum a regular biennial event “to consider common education issues at ministerial level, throughout this extended region”.
• The Meeting agreed to establish an Officials’ Working Group, to be convened by Australia, to prepare for the next meeting in 2008.
