About usWe are a multi-disciplinary team working within a well established children’s sleep disorder service with a track record in providing high quality training. We are offering a new five day course for professionals working with children and adolescents who are interested in learning more about childhood sleep and whish to integrate sleep management into their everyday practice.

The course is designed for: Individuals working with children and

adolescents who wish to develop the skills to manage common childhood sleep problems

Professionals with a health, education or social care background

Staff in the voluntary sector who have experience of working directly with parents / carers and their children

Learning outcomes To understand the nature of sleep

problems in children including those with disabilities

To understand the principles of behavioural sleep management and when to seek specialist support

To acquire the skills and knowledge

to work as a sleep practitioner

behavioural insomnia, parasomnias,

The course is held in a purpose built education centre in the New Forest. This

offers spacious seminar space with state of the art media facilities, a comfortable refreshment area and free parking. It is readily accessed by local public transport links. The local train station is 5 minutes walk from the site and is on the direct line to both London and Southampton Airport Parkway station. Southampton airport has daily flights to most major UK airports. Ashurst and its neighbouring town Lyndhurst are well served with hotel and guest house accommodation to suit all budgets.

Cost £750 per participant
