The trip from Yambio to the Ugandan border was a 12 hour

bone-shaking ride. A little scary at times but mostly a lot of fun. Once

we were in Uganda, the roads were much better. On the second

day of the trip, we had our first glimpses of African wildlife -

hippos in a waterhole beside the Nile, herds of antelope and several

baboons on the roadside.
