Last year, David Gilmour performed twospectacular shows at the legendary PompeiiAmphitheatre in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius. This dazzling concert film fuses highlights fromboth shows featuring songs from throughoutDavid's career such as Wish You Were Here,Comfortably Numb and very specialperformances of The Great Gig In The Skyand The Dark Side Of The Moon.

A spectacular audio-visual experiencefeaturing the huge cyclorama screen, lasers, pyrotechnics and stellar performances that theworld has come to expect from Gilmour andhis all-star band.

Music is often identified with place, like theDelta and its Blues or the mountain music ofAppalachia. In the case of the 3hattrio inspirationcomes from the deserts of southern Utah, thus,American Desert Music.

Their old-time cowboy and pioneer songs areriddled with originality and their musicality onbanjo, guitar, fiddle and double bass, alongsiderichly burnished vocals has attracted criticalacclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, includingoutstanding success at Celtic Connections.

Join one of the only Pirate Radio DJs still on ourairwaves for a fascinating look at a major culturalturning-point in Britain’s history in this the 50thanniversary year of the Summer of Love.

Now presenting his weekly ‘70s show onRadio 2, Johnnie is one of our best-known andloved DJs, but at the start of his career in the1960s he was at the heart of the off-shorepirate radio phenomenon where the DJs wereas much a part of Britain’s rock and pop musicrevolution as the musicians themselves.

Rooted in the bluegrass tradition, fearlesslycreative, and possessing a bold, dynamicsound, The Slocans have quickly become oneof the leading lights on Canada’s roots musicscene - their reputation built on energetic liveshows which blend lightning-fast and devilishlyintricate instrumentals with sawdust-thick vocals.

The ones to watch are Frank Evans on banjo;Adrian Gross on mandolin; Darryl Poulsen onguitar; and Alastair Whitehead on upright bass.
