INDRADHANUSH

A Scheme for organizing various cultural programmes in Nagpur(Maharashtra), Raipur(Chhattisgarh) and Khajuraho(Madhya Pradesh)

By Individuals and Not-For-Profit Organisations belonging to member states of SCZCC.

A scheme for Conducting Cultural events in various disciplines of Art; including Music & Dance (Folk, Light,Semi-Classical and Classical), Theatre, Poetry & Literature, by individuals and Not-For-Profit Organisations of member states of South Central Zone Cultural Centre (namely – Maharashtra, Madhaya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa) at various venues including- (A) SCZCC Campus, Nagpur(M.S.), (B) Shilpgram, Khajuraho(M.P.), (C) SCZCC’s Regional Centre at Raipur (C.G.), is launched. Applications are, therefore invited under the above-mentioned scheme from Not-For-Profit Organisations including Societies, Trusts and individuals having at least five year’s experience of supporting the seminars, workshops and festivals organized by them on different aspects of Indian culture. Applicant organization /individual may send the completely filled & documented application in the enclosed proforma, along with the recommendation of any of the Indian Academies, any culture related organization under the Govt. of India or by State Govt./UT Admn./State Academies. Organisations/Individuals may apply under Indradhanush Scheme throughout the year, and at least two months prior to the proposed dates of the programme. The SCZCC will not only provide the artiste’s honorarium as per details mentioned below, but will also provide Venue and administrative support free of cost, to conduct the programme. Applicant will have to bear all other expenses. The basic idea to launch this scheme is:

a) To Promote & Patronize art & culture of the Zone. b) To identify new Talents. c) To strengthen N.G.O. movement. d) Better utilization of the infrastructure belonging to SCZCC, for promotion of Art.

The following facilities are available at various venues mentioned above: A) SCZCC Premises, Nagpur (M.S.) ( 1st & 3rd Friday of every month are reserved for conduct of Cultural

Programmes under this scheme) a. Multipurpose Hall, for 400 viewers, with built-up stage for indoor performance. b. Different size of Amphitheaters, with seating capacity of 800 viewers and above. c. Green rooms. d. Different size of lush green lawns of seating capacity of 100 to 2000 viewers. e. Administrative support. f. Sufficient parking space.

B) Shilpgram, Khajuraho (M.P.) (Throughout the year, subject to availability of venue) (contact no. 07686-

272280) a. Open Air Auditorium of seating capacity of 1000 viewers. b. Green rooms. c. Lodging facilities at Dormitories for maximum 64 artistes. d. Sufficient parking. e. Open space f. Administrative support.

C) SCZCC Regional Centre, Raipur (C.G.) (In collaboration with State Cultural Affairs Department) . (throughout the year, subject to availability of venue) (contact no. 0771-2434385) a. Open Air Auditorium of seating capacity of 1000 viewers. b. Green rooms. c. Indoor Auditorium of 100 seats. d. Sufficient parking.

Benefits:

a. Free Venue.

b. Artiste’s Honorarium, as per details mentioned below:

i. Individuals/Organisations of Nagpur, Raipur, or Khajuraho or its periphery of 200 kms,-

maximum up to ` 51,000/-.

ii. Individuals/Organisations of the seven member states of SCZCC excluding the above –

maximum up to ` 1,00,000/-.

c. Certificate of Merit by SCZCC, Nagpur.

d. Outstanding performance will be suitably rewarded by giving them chance in Programmmes

organized by SCZCC.

Discipline:

The Individuals/Organisations can select one of the following discipline to perform:

a) Music & Dance (Folk, Light, Semi Classical & Classical)

b) Theatre

c) Poetry & Literature.

d) Any other aspect of Indian Performing Art.

Government of India or by State Government/UT Administration/State Academies, covering the following

1. That, the said organisation is registered under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860), Trust

Act, Companies Act or any Central or State Act.

Terms and Conditions for organizing Cultural Programmes under ‘INDRADHANUSH’ Scheme

at various venues under SCZCC.

1. The form should be neatly filled and completed in all respects. No columns should be left

unfilled. Typed nomination forms in the same format will also be acceptable.

2. The application forms should be sent, at least two months in advanced, to The Director, South

Central Zone Cultural Centre, 56/1, Civil Lines, Opp MLA Hostel, Nagpur – 440001 (e-mail:

sczccnagpur@gmail.com). Enquiry if any, please contact Shri. Shashank Dande - Cell No.

available at: www.sczcc.gov.in

3. The Scheme is exclusively for professional Individuals and Organisations whose prime

motives are to promote art & culture only.

4. The duration of programme/performance must not be less than 2 hours.

5. Please enclose the self-certified copies of certificates, photographs, videos, newspaper cuttings

etc. to strengthen your claim.

6. The application form should accompany the demand draft of ` 1000/- drawn on any nationalized

bank, in the name of ‘The Director, South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur’ payable at

Nagpur, as the Processing Fee, which will be nonrefundable.

7. After scrutiny of application forms by the SCZCC, a four-member selection committee (two

from SCZCC & two from outside) will select the Individual/Organisation to perform.

8. The date of performance will be decided on mutual consent basis, and subject to availability of

venue. The applicant will have no right to insist the dates mentioned in his/her application.

9. Director, SCZCC reserves all rights to allot or reject the application without any notification and

change of terms and conditions. In regards to the interpretation of any rule(s), the decision of the

Director, SCZCC, will be final and binding to all. Hiding any kind of realities will result into

disqualification, recovery if any and legal action.

10. Due to non-availability of venue or any other administrative reasons, The Director, SCZCC

reserves all rights to postpone or cancel the programme.

11. The benefit of this scheme will be given once in a year to the Individual/Organisation and

subject to the availability of the venue/funds.

12. The performance (s) should be originally conceived and choreographed and should be of

national standard.

13. In case of loss or damage of property/life happened during transit, or performance period etc.,

SCZCC shall not be liable to any claim or legal pursuit. However, artist, if they so wish to deem

fit, are at their liberty to take an insurance coverage at their own cost.

14. Occupying the venue beyond the allotted period will invite penalty and forfeit of honorarium.

15. Spoiling, damaging, altering the infrastructure will invite penalty or cancellation of honorarium.

Walls should not be nailed.

16. All type of intoxicant, liquor and food (arrangement/supply/consumption) will not be allowed in

the premises.

17. The honorarium will be paid after receiving the completion report along with original

copies of media coverage, photographs, CD/DVD, copy of invitation cards etc. by the

benefitted Individual/Organisation. All financial transactions will be made through RTGS

only and within 15 days after receiving the completion report from the performer. The

Individual/Organisations are advised to submit completion report within 15 days after

completion of the programme. No claims of honorarium will be considered in case of delay

in submission of completion report.

18. The name/logo of the Scheme, SCZCC and Ministry of Culture must be highlighted in all

publicity material including invitation cards, banners, standees, pamphlets, handouts,

press notes, social media and proof to be submitted to the office after completion of the

programme/performance. Logo is available at: www.sczcc.gov.in

19. The performance must not contain any controversial, political, obscene, or vulgar in nature. The

applicant will be responsible for all such issues.

20. The Centre will not accept any application for Political, Semi Political, Religious, Semi-

Religious, Annual Function, Annual Meetings, Family/Community Functions and Private

gatherings etc.

21. No Government /Semi-Government organization/Educational Institute & Autonomous

bodies/Religious Group/Political Organisation will take benefits under this scheme.

22. SCZCC reserves the right to amend, delete and add any condition of this scheme.

23. In case of disputes, Nagpur will be the jurisdiction.
