Fenced Areas Information – Limpopo Province – South Africa These are generally large private reserves and concession within South Africa. Bookings will be confirmed by a non refundable deposit of all daily rates or 50% of the total safari fees. A legal hunting contract will be forwarded indicating important information regarding prices, dates, daily rates etc. This contract will be signed in advance of any hunt, where after the deposit will be payable. All packages include daily rates, trophy fees, permits & reserve fees for 1 x 1 hunt. Prices exclude VAT (14%), cash payments are optional. Electronic transfers are recommended. There are limited number of packages available for 2016.

Unfenced KNP Area 2 Information – Mpumalanga SA This area is 40 000 ha, unfenced within the Greater Kruger National Park. Bookings will be confirmed by a non refundable deposit of all daily rates or 50% of the total safari fees. There are limited number of packages available for 2016. AREA: Timbavati, Klaserie and Umbabat form part of the Association of Private Nature Reserves. APNR is over 300 000 acres in extent, and based on the Eastern side of the world famous Kruger National Park, which is situated in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces of South Africa. There are no boundary fences between the Kruger National Park and the APNR. Together these areas constitute the Greater Kruger Park, which is over 5 Million acres in size. The Umbabat Private Nature Reserve is a pristine environment with no boundary fences or internal fences. This is one of the wildest hunting areas available in South Africa and recently was only experienced by hunters of a by-gone era. Annual quotas are limited and to hunt this pristine area our hunts are booked on a first come first serve basis. This is truly an experience of a lifetime.

Skinning and field preparation of trophy animals. Ground transport. Laundry. Accommodation and meals. Beer, wine in moderate consumption.

What to bring along:   Hunting is conducted on private reserves and concessions throughout Southern Africa. These areas vary from 1000 to 6000 feet (300-2000 meters) above sea level. Cotton clothing will be suitable during normal day temperatures (60-80°F, 15-25°C), in certain areas night and early morning temperatures can drop substantially, so light warm clothing is advisable.   To make your safari as comfortable as possible we have combined a general list to help you when preparing to pack for your safari. Please bear in mind that when hunting in South Africa laundry gets done almost on a daily basis except when travelling between concessions. When hunting in any of the other African countries and charter flights are used, please pack light as space and weight is always critical. Experience has shown that a rifle in 7 mm - .30 ranges (7mm, .308, .30-06, .300 mag, .375 H&H etc.) with a 4 – 6 power scope, zeroed at 150 – 200 yards is ideal for African conditions on non dangerous game. Bow Hunting:   We have dedicated bow hunting areas with an abundance of game including some of the Big 5 species and package hunts available. These hunts are guided by Professional Hunters with the skills and experience needed in this field.  

Bird Hunting:  Bird hunting can be arranged during normal hunts depending on the hunting area, season and game bird / water fowl availability in that area.  

Photographic/Sightseeing Safaris: Non – hunting safaris can be arranged on concessions, private reserves and National Parks throughout Southern Africa.
