Methodology

By green availability we mean all the green surfaces present in the Study Area. these areas have been classified in 5 categories published by the Lombardy Region, in compliance with Decree 3870 of 7th of May 2012 entitled "Catalog of spatial data, specification of content for geographic DB". the five strata are identified as uncultivated pasture, agricultural crop, forest, urban green area and area temporarily lacking in vegetation.Although the analysis is limited to the green areas in the 'Study Area, it was considered appropriate to also represent the South Agricultural Park that is not taken into account in the analysis.
