Chairman’s Message

It is a great joy to see the first edi�on of 'Chanakya 2k17'. The Computer Science & Engineering Department at Sanjay Ghodawat Ins�tutes has been proac�ve in coming up with the Department level updates and progress through the newsle�er, and I recommend them for the same. Communica�on about an organiza�on's updates, recent advances, achievements, etc has become all the more vital in the Era of Knowledge. Communica�on brings trust, shows dynamism and the acumen to connect with themasses. This is especially very important when it is an educa�onal ins�tute as the people out there want to knowthe advances the ins�tute is making in terms of academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular ac�vi�es. The stakeholders i.e. the parents, students etc have the right to know about the happenings in the ins�tute. Sharing of one' victories, challenges, achievements and shortcomings is communica�ng in a basic sense that we all go through the same human experience and we have within us to rise above and adapt to everything that comes our way. It is in the rising, adap�ng, overcoming and being useful of humankind that our lives become nobler. Computer Science & Engineering Faculty at SGI and I congratulate

the Editorial team, the HOD and all the staff and students who

have contributed to make this issue of the Newsle�er come alive.

Computer Science & Engineering Branch is one of the circuit

branches of Engineering. It deals with areas like So�ware development,

Data Analy�cs, Cloud compu�ng, IOT, Networking etc. Today there is a

rapid growth in the field of technology and science. The knowledge of

yesterday becomes redundant tomorrow. As such the challenge is to

keep oneself constantly renova�ng and upgrading. Ac�vi�es like the

publica�on of News le�er give a pla�orm for our students and faculty

to express themselves as well as become aware of the recent advances

in the field of the study. At SGI we constantly mo�vate our students

Dr. Melinamath has 23 years of experience and carried out extensive research in the area of Natural

2. Dr. Nikhil D. Karande who held an Associate Professor at Bhara� Vidyapeeth College of Engineering

Pune. Dr. Karande has 09 years of experience and carried out extensive research in the area of

1.Department of Computer Science and Engineering signed MoU with ATS InfoTech Pvt. Ltd, Delhi.

The purpose of this MOU is to establish a collabora�ve rela�onship between Sanjay Ghodwat Group

of Ins�tu�ons and ATS InfoTech Pvt.Ltd. Under this MoU ATS is responsible to impart cer�ficate
