By taking direct action and working with partners, SOS Children’s Villages

Romania supports families and their children in the communities. When

children can no longer live with their own families, SOS provides premium

alternative care.

The first two SOS Children’s Village in Romania were founded in 1990 and opened in 1993. The third one opened in 2006.
