NEED BASED - FEE CONCESSION POLICY

1. Gen. Student's often forward applications for concession of fee from

time to time for the reason that their Parents I Guardians have died during their

studies, hence they cannot afford the expenses. The same aspect has been

addressed by PMC Regulations, by asking the students to obtain health

insurance from its own resources. It has been implemented in CIMS w.eJ 2020,

i.e. for the first year students, however, in order to facilitate 2nd year to final year

students the subject policy has been framed. The details are as under:-

a. The students can apply for need based fee concession through

Student Affairs Department.

b. These applications will be put up before Fee Concession Committee

on case-to-case basis (Composition of Committee attached at

Anx-A).

c. The facts will be verified using internal I external resources by the

institute.

d. The Fee Concession Committee will recommend the percentage of

concession in-line with PMC guidelines, the academic performance of

students and the financial status of their families.

e. A.student with minimum of 50% marks with no F-Grade in any subject

of that Academic Year will be eligible for subject policy.

f. The concession granted to one student can be at maximum up to

25% to 50% of the Tuition Fee only. It will be approved by the

President BoGs basing on the recommendations of Fee Concession

Committee.

g. Tuition fee concession once granted will be reviewed I evaluated on

yearly basis by the Committee in the light of academic performance

of student and updated financial status of family.

h. The fee concession will be granted out of CIMS Main Acct or as

decided by BoGs. Any additional requirement of concession will be

processed separately as a special case.

2. The particular Case will become void once health insurance of student's

parents I Guardian is obtained & will not be considered for gt of concession I

waiver.
