Year 4 Royal Ballet I had the privilege of joining Year 4 on Wednesday afternoon to watch Birmingham Royal Ballet perform ‘The Seasons’ and ‘Peter and the Wolf’ at Malvern Theatres. The children were captivated by the performance and were able to spot sequences of movements that they had learnt in their workshop last week. ‘The music was harmonious, the dancers were beautiful and the whole show was fun.’ Alana The best part in my opinion was Peter and the Wolf as I really enjoyed it when they danced.’ Szymon I liked all of it because they practised a lot. Tag Rugby Tournament The Tag Rugby Tournament we went to on Friday 17th May, which took place at Malvern Rugby Club, was a fun experience. Even though we didn’t win, we had the opportunity to play against many talented schools who played fairly and were hard competition. We tried our best and won most of our matches. At the very end, we had to be tested on our abilities against one of the best schools ever; we ended up playing against the other team of Somers Park. The referees were good as they made sure we were playing properly and that the match was fair. A great day had by all! By Molly and Ellie 6ME

Reception enjoying the train ride

Transport Museum The Reception children had a fantastic visit to Wythall Transport Museum. They looked at lots of different types of buses and even got to sit on the top floor of an open double decker bus. They enjoyed lunch in the sun with their Malvern Vale friends then enjoyed a ride on a mini steam engine. They finished their day off with the opportunity to have a sit in different types of delivery vans and even met a real milk maid!
