AisladoresLos hilos/cintas conductores deben estar completamente aislados sin tocar en ningún momento los postes, ramas, hierbas, arbustos, etc., que restarían eficacia al cercado. La elección de los aisladores depende del tipo de poste seleccionado (madera, varillas o metálico) y en menor medida, del conductor (cinta o hilo/alambre).

Conexión de la toma de tierra Al ser el componente más importante de la construcción de un cercado eléctrico, es importante que ésta se instale de forma adecuada teniendo en cuenta los siguientes aspectos:

·Separada al menos 10 metros de cualquier otra toma de tierra (de la casa, granja…)

·Emplear como picas metales resistentes a la oxidación (aluminio, tubo galvanizado…)

·Utilizar picas de 1 metro. Una pica en caso de pastores de hasta 2 julios, dos si éstos son de hasta 4 julios y 3 si son de hasta 8 julios.

·En lugares muy secos y en función de las condiciones, se aconseja la instalación de una línea a tierra alternativa entre las líneas electrificadas de la cerca.

Connecting the ground (earthing graphic)Being the most important component when building an electric fence, it is important that this is installed properly taking into account the following aspects:

PostesSi se trata de instalaciones fijas, se aconseja que éstos sean de materiales duraderos como madera o hierro. Podrán ser de otros materiales como plásticos o reciclados en caso de instalaciones pequeñas o móviles.

Hilos/cintas conductores ·Instalaciones fijas: se aconseja emplear alambre de acero galvanizado al tratarse de la opción más resistente y económica o alambre de aluminio para la construcción de cercas muy largas al ser éste más conductor.

·Instalaciones móviles: para las instalaciones móviles (rotación de pastos) o temporales (protección de cultivos) se emplean hilos y cintas. Las cintas, además de la conductividad, poseen un efecto visual muy importante.

Destinado principalmente a animales sensibles como caballos o cerdos y animales domésticos grandes. Este electrificador puede también utilizarse en pequeñas instalaciones, interiores de granjas, establos, etc.

Aparato para cercados de medias y grandes dimensiones de hasta 100 km de línea. Gracias a sus 5,5 julios, el efecto auto-limpiante disminuye las pérdidas por contacto de vegetación fina en la línea.

Dispositivo ideado para su aplicación en grandes extensiones de hasta 150 km de línea y para el control de animales como jabalíes, ciervos, etc. Con 10,8 julios de energía posee un gran efecto autolimpiante en contacto con vegetación media.
