The NDS focuses on two key areas; social and economic livelihoods, hence its National Vision “Improving the Social and Economic Livelihoods of all Solomon Islanders”. The NDS recognises that the key to growth and progress of the people of Solomon Islands lies within sustainable economic development. Sustainable growth is the only way to guarantee a reasonable standard of living for all Solomon Islanders.
