    Abstract: This paper int roduces brief ly some common mechanism motion analy sis met hods and their char act eristics, w ith the

    em phasis on the establishment of kinematic model and so lid modeling w ith the so ftw are SimMechanics and Solidwo rks, taking

    cr ank- rocker mechanism and oscillating guide-bar mechanism as examples. Simultaneously the mechanism kinematic analy sis

    and simulation is implemented by setting module par ameters and simulat ion pa rameters. T he kinetic characterist ic curv e of the

    key po ints and the simulation animation a re obtained. The results show that the introduced method is easy , rapid and accurate

    for pr act ical engineer ing application.
