Solid Edge – Home License CreationStep 1: Go to https://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/global/en/support/Step 2: Under License Management choose Licenses.

Step 4: You will now be on the licensing page. Click on Passwords and License Files.

Example: 220.0 ( Solid Edge 2020 )

Solid Edge – Home License CreationStep 7: Select the license you want to use. I'm going to use a Solid Edge Classic license.

Click the check box.

Select Next

Solid Edge – Home License CreationStep 8: The next screen you will fill out your info for where the home license will be used. Make sure you give a valid email address; your home license will be sent to that email account.

Select Generate License

Step 9: Download the SElicense.dat file and save the file to your desktop on your home computer. You will also get a copy emailed to the email used.

Open up the License file to view

The user will see that it is a Home Use license

• Solid Edge Users are allowed to get a Home License for 6 months.• Solid Edge Users can also apply for a Travel License for up to 30 days

in a year. This license allows them to temporarily use Solid Edge on a different machine off-site.
