This procedure applies to DCO60 indicator only. It describes how to access the BIOS setup to check the parameters. BIOS Setup is only reachable at system startup, before the Windows Operating System has started. Every single change in the BIOS setup could result in an unresponding or unstable system and it is recommended that only an experienced user follow these steps. Prerequisite: You will need a USB keyboard to access the BIOS setup.

Plug the USB Keyboard in a free USB slot

Access to the port may have been locked and need to be unlocked.

Push the red button

The system should start and many beeps could be heared. Balea logo is displayed on the screen.

Press the Suppr key during startup

It is possible to use one of the red keys. You could push the key several times if you're unsure of the perfect timing.

BIOS Setup should be displayed

If it worked you must have the following screen displayed. If the Operating System has started then you must have to shut down the system and restart from step 2.

Access the Advanced Menu item Select the SuperIO Configuration entry to see the serial ports parameters

Check Serial Port4 Mode

In normal operation Serial Port4 Mode should be set to RS485.

Changes.... If Serial Port4 is not correct, it is possible to change it using the enter key and selecting RS485, then pressing enter again.

Save settings and exit

If changes have been done, press F10 to save the settings and exit the setup.
