Because the cool water is forever belowthe hotwater, so the water in the left tank is always hot. But other

non-pressure solar water heaters are differrent.When the cold water isput into the collector, it flows into the hot water and mixes with hotwater directly. So the tempreture falls down quickly. The electric

heater is in the left tank. When it is needed, only the water in this tankis heated, so it will be heated very quickly and the electricty is saved.
