Philips Solar O�-grid Control Unit (OCU) Gen 3.0 Charge Controller with Maximum Power
Point Tracking (OCU Gen 3.0 MPPT CC) is an advanced battery charger for o�-grid photo-
voltaic lighting system. The controller features a leading and smart tracking algorithm that
maximizes the energy harvest from the PV and provides load control to prevent over
discharge of the battery.
The OCU Gen 3.0 MPPT CC is dedicated designed for professional PV applications in
standalone solar lighting system. The battery temperature sensor adhered to it and its
charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system perfor-
mance. The product is polyurethane encapsulated for environment protection and
preventing against invasion (IP67), could be commissionable and accessible by users via
a personal computer.
