How solar street lighting system works:

When the sun shines during the day, the solar panel converts solar energy to electrical energy and stores it

in the battery. During the night, the battery is discharged, releasing electrical energy to power the LED

luminaire – hence lighting the road.

PV Panel Subsystem

Surefine solar street lighting system integrates highly efficient and stable poly/mono-crystalline silicon panel

that generates positive power tolerance resulting in highly efficient system

performance.

It offers wide range from 50W to 250W, panel output voltage at max power 17.5V

is for 12V system operation, and output voltage at max power 35V is for 24V

system operation.

Cable subsystem

Surefine solar cable subsystem is designed as plug-and-play as well as fool-proof,

which ensures the easy installation, reliability. Cable subsystem includes PV cable,

luminaire extension cable, and battery cable.

Battery Subsystem with battery boxes

Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Battery integrates Gel electrolyte technology with long service life, high

performance in deep discharging; it can be used in wide range of ambient temperature and keep good

performance of constant power input.

Surefine Battery Subsystem uses lead crystal (Gel) battery, which poses long cycle life time and delivers

longest deep discharge efficiency. The battery subsystem has in-ground solution as well as on-pole solution

in term of mounting type.

Battery subsystem In-ground solution offers flexibility of charge controller inside or outside of battery box;

those are Battery subsystem with Charge controller and Battery subsystem without Charge controller.

Battery subsystem with Charge controller can be used when lighting pole without service hatch. While

service hatch in pole is available, battery subsystem without Charge controller is recommended, and

additional charge controller should be ordered.

It offers wide range of batteries from 50AH to 200AH, with 12V or 24V.

Features: New design of wireless remote-control can modify the controller parameter and read the

system message according to the handheld device.

Metal case, IP68 waterproof degree, can suitable use in all kinds of bad conditions.

Digital high precision constant-current control, the maximum efficiency can reach 96%.

Record the system status, can record at a max 7days and monitor the whole system.

The working current can be adjusted from 0.15A to 3.3A, the regulating precision is 30mA.

High dynamic performances of load insure current output stability even though the battery

voltage and load sudden change.

3 section time frame dimming function design, work time can be set range from 0h to 15

hours, power can be set range from 0% to 100%.

Intelligent power mode, the load power can be adjust automatically according to the battery power, can extend the maximum

working time of the battery.

The true constant current but not limited the current, insure the current output stability thus decrease LED light failure, increase

the LED service life.

Special Technical Advantages of Surefine Modular Lights:

Honeycomb Briquette effect

It simulates and adopts the burning principle of

honeycomb briquette; it is easy to transform the

original block of radiator to various modules, as well as

to enable air to convert and fully pass through the gaps

between modules by utilizing the honeycomb effect,

thus to remove the heat rapidly, and reduce

temperature by around 20oC.

Heat dissipation of the whole structure

It is available to make clever use of module bracket that

only play a supporting role, and to transform it to a

"thermal bracket" that is capable of conducting the

module's heat to the light shell as a structural part,

thus to promote the cooling effect of radiator of

cooling module, the design aims to fully utilize the

surface area of structural parts to transfer heat to air.

Tool-free maintenance

It uses special structural design to achieve the manual

disassembly and installation of lighting components, in

consideration that the high-power lights are generally

installed in higher operating environment, the

operators require as few tools as possible for their

convenience and security.

Double-coupling IP68 protection

It adopts the screw-free structure to avoid the

penetration of water vapor through the screw hole; its

double silicon-rubber rings insulate LEDs with the

outside environment completely, thus to eliminate any

erosion to chips and PCB boards from outside.

High-efficacy LED Light source

It adopts Philips lumileds LUXEON T LED source with

super efficacy and light output from a compact source.

Optimized for efficacy driven applications with typical

Vf: 2.7V and low thermal resistance: 3K/W. Specified,

targeted and tested hot, at real world operating

temperatures, Tj=85℃ to ensure in- application

performance.
