No compromiseThe SOLAµ family consists of a wide range of phase chemistries suitable for almost every compound type. This allows for extremely selective analysis removing potential interferences. As a result increased concentration can be achieved without increased matrix effects.

Thermo Scientific™ SOLAμ™ is a micro elution device built on Embedded Particle Technology (EPT), which removes the need for frits and so eliminates issues associated with traditional loose-packed SPE. This results in highly reproducible, accurate data. SOLAμ enables:

• An increase in your sensitivity by up to 20 fold

• Removal of evaporation and reconstitution steps

• Removal of analyte volatility, adsorption and solubility issues

Simple workflowExchanging your traditional SPE for SOLAµ allows you to keep the workflow simple. By reducing your elution volumes you can directly inject the eluent with no further processing. This can provide up to 20-fold increase in sample concentration with no additional steps.

Make your sample work harderLow elution volumes gives you the tools to concentrate your sample pre-analysis without any need for evaporation.

This not only saves you time but avoids issues with loss of volatile compounds, or compounds susceptible to non-specific binding such as proteins and peptides.

• SOLAµ: sample enrichment 20 × preconcentration)

• Observed matrix effects on a selection of opiates extracted from human urine using SOLAµ SCX method and analysed by LC-MS/MS with electrospray ionization.
