The challenges that face the global society according to the

article includes:

-To stop using finite resources which are not sustainable

-Population explosion- overpopulation

-Natural resource depletion nothing left for energy,

polymer production.

-Damage done to living environment

-Inability for the earth to digest all waste produced. Eg Co2

production exceeding earths capacity to absorb it.

-The human society as a whole is living beyond its means

-viruses are huge threat to human populations as they could

wipe out large numbers very quickly

What is the scientists idea of remedying this

-We could rely on solar power as The surface of the earth

absorbs 10,000 times more energy as consumed by the

human population, therefore we could be entirely

dependent on solar power energy

-If electrical energy generated by a specialised cell could be

effectively stored it could be used to electrolysed water into

hydrogen and oxygen placing us in the age of hydrogen

economy.

-We could invent artificial leaves growing on a mass scale to

provide biofuels

-Countries Work together to solve the issue Its GLOBAL.,

we have to solve problems together
