Make-Up Work & Late Assignments

Make-Up Work & Late Assignments

Once I have started to grade an assignment, any late work loses a letter grade per day i.e. 100% (A+) two days late = 80% (B-)

After 3 days, it’s too late to turn in the work If you were out for 2 days, you have 4

additional days to turn in the work you missed If you were absent, look in the “Make-Up Work

Folder” You will find your missing work here

Turning In Your Work

Expect every assignment to be graded

Turn your work in to the “In-Box” assigned to your class OR to the person I tell to collect the work

You must have a complete heading for full credit– Complete heading consists of: Name (First and

Last… Not Initials), Date, Block, Title– Any work without a complete heading losses 10%

Page 20: Social Studies 2009-10 North East Middle School Mr. Warner.

Your Space Is Your Space, My Space Is My Space

desk!If I have materials out, DON’T TOUCH

it until I give you permission.

permission– Keep the library NEAT and in the same order I have it

Your BelongingsYour Belongings

Please keep your belongings either neatly underneath your desk or on your desk itself.

Please DO NOT place your belongings in the aisles. This is a small classroom and I don’t want

my big feet tripping over your stuff. I DO NOT run a lost & found.

If you leave supplies behind you might want to check outside in the hallway because my classroom is not your extra locker space.

AttendanceAttendance

I keep track of attendance every day of the year I check to see if you are skipping class

I compare my attendance list with the office’s attendance list If you are not in my class but the office says that you are here,

I write a referral

If you are late… You have two unexcused lates a marking period

The third time = a detention

An unexcused late means you are late within one minute after my door becomes closed… not 15 minutes
