description

This is a problem that I am sure plagues many a university or most any large organization in general. Universities are very decentralized in nature. There are Departments, Colleges, Centers and Programs. Each of these has their own assets, and I while show you how to share them via social media tools. Each department has an internal server where files are stored all over. Many times there is very little logic as to how they will categorize information to find it later. I will show you how with various tools including using flickr for images where you can tag, geotag and share images easily with various licensing options. Delicous is a great way to share links to all the important information across a team, Documents can be created using tools like google docs and wikis that enable very easy collaboration and sharing.
