The INV1250, INV2250, INV4000 E, RP6500 and RP8000 E are now available with CO DEFENSETM,a carbon monoxide (CO) sensing & shutdown technology to keep you and your family safe.

When carbon monoxide reaches unsafe levels, the LED indicator light will flash red and the generator will shut down.

Once this happens, leave the area immediately and relocate to an open outdoor area. Ventilate the area thoroughly before occupying again. Move to fresh air and get medical help if sick, dizzy or weak.

Carbon monoxide is an odorless, invisible gas that can harm or kill you. Always ensure the generator is located in an open outdoor area. Gasoline generators emit a significant amount of carbon monoxide from the exhaust muffler.

The CO DEFENSE system was designed from the ground up and uses an advanced industrial grade carbon monoxide sensor, a long-life lithium battery, custom hardware and software that detects and protects, giving you peace of mind when operating your portable generator. Our engineers have conducted hundreds of hours of testing to ensure the system is safe, reliable and will not nuisance trip.
