During his experience at Mercy Ships, Mr Harrison realized that 60% of the diseases that were faced by people were due to lack of clean water. Hence, he returned to New York to start ‘Charity:Water’ to provide people with clean water. ‘Charity: water’ has raised over $100 million and funded over 8,000 water projects in 20 countries. When completed, those projects will provide over three million people with clean, safe drinking water.
