Social cooperative TEMPO LIBERO and its tourist accommodations on LAKE GARDA

About us Tempo Libero is a social cooperative located in Brescia designing and promoting European mobility projects on youth exchanges, voluntary experiences, work placements. It also works in education, training and guidance, non formal education, social inclusion. It belongs to a local network which includes local authorities, schools, universities, companies, temp agencies, organisations in the third sector. Founded in 1987, nowadays the cooperative runs kindergartens and nursery schools, youth training centre and summer camps for kids coming from primary schools and middle schools, professional accompaniment projects for young adults, as well as cultural mediation services and intercultural projects that involve the participation of immigrant children and families. Since the 1990s, Tempo Libero has been working in the fields of European international mobility programs (most of which are now part of the "Erasmus +" program) aimed at allowing young people to gain experience abroad (traineeships, volunteering, exchanges, linguistic stays). The work team consists in professional in different fields: professional educators, intercultural mediators, international mobility professionals, experts in orienteering, psychologists, educationalists, trainers, English and Italian as a second language teachers, tourist guides.

Tourist accommodations on lake Garda Since 2016 Tempo Libero has been managing hostel ANTICA PIEVE and the hotel restaurant MIRAMONTI, both located on lake Garda, a territory appreciated since Roman times for its mild climate and rich flora. Thanks to their strategic location, these two tourist accommodations offers a variety of chances to have fun, play sports (trekking, cycling and mountain biking, water sports, climbing, horse riding…), visit interesting touristy sites and art cities (Brescia, Verona, Mantova, Venezia…), discover the renowned local enogastronomic products and… simply relax!

Hostel ANTICA PIEVE

HOSTEL ANTICA PIEVE The hostel is located in Manerba del Garda, 5 minutes walking fom the beach, in a building that was compeltely just adjcemt to the Pieve of Santa Maria di Tenesi, a 6th-7th century religious building. The hostel has 28 beds, divided into double and six/eight beds rooms, each of them with a private bathroom and individual wardrobes with locks and keys. Each bed is equipped with electrical outlets and a light. The wifi connection is guaranteed in all the rooms.

Bedrooms Two double rooms with private bathroom. The room on first floor has beautiful walls with 14th/15th century decorations, the furniture is in chippendale style, whereas the ground room has a bed that it is possible to divide.

A six beds room with queen-size beds (3 bunk beds, all of them queen size). Furniture has been placed so that the privacy is guaranteed. Private bathroom.

Shared spaces Guests have at their disposal a modern equipped kitchen, a dining room, a common room with sofas and computers, a laundry equipped with washing machines and dryers, a terrace overlooking the lake and a large outdoor garden. In front of the hostel there is a spacious parking lot and, in the surroundings, you can find a playground, a bike rental shop and several restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, discos and sports facilities (soccer field, basketball court, etc). Hotel restaurant MIRAMONTI

The hotel restauranti s located in the Park dell’Alto Garda in a pratically flat area from which you can easily

reach pedestrian tracks that fis everyone’s needs.

The hotel has single, double or triple rooms, all of them with a private bathroom.

The restaurant rooms are large and with a rustic decor, and a beautiful wooden veranda constitutes the

main hall. With over 200 seats, the restaurant is certainly suitable to host ceremonies, banquets and

groups.

The restaurant menu offers a wide selection of typical local dishes, including the renowned spiedo alla

bresciana (spit-roasted meat).

Outside, there is a large space with a porch and several trees where in summer you can cool off while

sitting at the tables or playing bocce.
