DAY 2 Sunday, 22 March 2020Our 24-hour Tour Director will meet us at the airport and remain with us until our final airportdeparture.We will have use of a private coach and driver, while touring for the next seven days.Dortmund was founded about 882 and became known as an Imperial Free City. After theThirty Years' War the city was destroyed and decreased in significance until the onset ofindustrialization. The city then became one of Germany's most important coal, steel and beercenters. It is now home to many cultural and educational institutions, to include the GermanFootball Museum. Dortmund is also home to Borussia Dortmund, one of the most successfulclubs in German football history. The team plays at Westfalenstadion, currently known asSignal Iduna Park, Germany's largest football stadium.Lunch will be by the group's own arrangement and cost.DORTMUND WALKING TOURTake a Walking Tour of this quaint little city. You will see historical monuments, but its diversearchitecture through the modern buildings as well. You see the lovely old houses mixed in withsome great shopping experiences.Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 3 Monday, 23 March 2020SIGNAL IDUANA PARK Visit Signal Iduna Park, the official home to Borussia Dortmund. The stadium is one of themost famous football grounds in Europe and the largest stadium in Germany, with itsmaximum capacity of 81,360 people! We will be in expert hands as our friendly andknowledgeable tour guide will take us through the history of this club and give us the behindthe scenes tour to include a stop in the 'Yellow Wall' area which is the largest free-standinggrandstand in Europe and the most intimidating area to opponents on game day. We willcheck out the Executive Boxes and enjoy photo opportunities throughout the stadium. We willend or tour by stopping in Boruseeum, the museum of Borussia Dortmund, which is locatednear the stadium.FIRST FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. The team will meet andcompete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to makefriends for life. DAY 4 Tuesday, 24 March 2020This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.BORUSSIA DORTMUND TRAINING SESSIONWe will participate in a training session with BVB Coaching Staff at the Borussia DortmundTraining Facilities. Your training session will be based on the BVB youth academy concept ofenhancing technical skills and emphasis on team spirit and cooperation.TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY You will gather as a group and participate in a Team Building Activity. Get to know others onyour team, enhance your skills and participate in specific BVB specific activities that you willbe sure to enjoy.Today lunch is included in the VIP area at the stadium.ATTEND A PROFESSIONAL MATCHWe will attend a professional soccer match featuring teams from the top leagues. Seeing thetop talent in the world in person would itself be an unforgettable experience, but add thepassionate crowds signing, cheering and chanting and you will enter an atmosphere that canonly be understood through personal experience. (Excel Programs will secure tickets for thegroup after time of booking and upon release of the official schedule. Your training session will be based on the BVB youth academy concept ofenhancing technical skills and emphasis on team spirit and cooperation.Today lunch is included in the VIP area at the stadium.You will have some free time to relax in the hotel before our evening friendly.GERMAN FOOTBALL MUSEUMVisit the German Football Museum where the emotional history of Germany's football can beexperienced and where the joy of football is celebrated. Objects, graphics, sounds and filmswill re-enact the magic of football in various exhibition sites. History is not told linearly, itsdepiction rather orientates itself on phenomenon. The thematic variety of football and itscomplex societal, social, cultural and economic effects are presented in an easilycomprehendible manner, making it a truly fascinating experience for the visitor. Multimediaand interactive components enhance the experience.

DAY 8 Saturday, 28 March 2020This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel to Schalke 04 Academy.FC SCHALKE 04Take some time to get aquainted with FC Schalke 04. Schalke is a professional Germanassociation football club. The "04" in the club's name derives from its formation in 1904.Schalke has long been one of the most popular professional football teams and multi-sportsclub in Germany, even though major successes have been rare since the club's heyday in the1930s and early 1940s. Since 2001, Schalke's stadium is the Veltins-Arena. Schalke holds along-standing rivalry with Ruhr neighbours Borussia Dortmund, arguably one of the mostwidespread and well-known rivalries in German football, and matches between the twoteams are referred to as the Revierderby.Today we will eat lunch at the FC Schalke 04 Academy.VELTINS ARENA STADIUM TOURYou will have a guide for this superb behind the scenes tour. DAY 9 Sunday, 29 March 2020This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us tothe airport on our final day.
