Carlos Alberto Martinez .formed a relationship with ., now 24 years old, and groomed her from a young age for the purposes of a sexual relationship, Martinez

used his position as a to manipulate . and the people she had the most contact with. This included her :fumily, friends,

boyfriends, school counselors, and school officials. Martinez also abused his position to manipulate his co-workers, subordinates, supervisors and the citiz.ens he was

entrusted to protect. became a long term victim of Carlos A, Martinez. Carlos convinced everyone around him he was helping a young misguided child

Instead he was having a sexual relationship with her. Carlos continued his relationship through teens and into adulthood. Martinez had a pattern of similar

activities with other "Babysitters" and females in the Monroe atea. This relationship caused to miss out on a normal childhood and forced her to lose

relationships with her fiunily and friends. The groomed and manipulated relationship caused to have problems'with diet, health and interpersonaJ. skills with

others. On May 2om 2004, hfartinez committed Rape ofa Child in the Third Degree on went forward to a school counselor at the on two

separate occasions to seek help and advice. The school counselor went to a Child Proteciive Services (CPS) employee that was allegedly in a romantic relationship

with Martinez. The CPS employee asked about the relationship to determine i f omething was going on.

Titis was forwarded to Washington :fium Bexar County in the State of Texas. Detective George Segura of the San Antonio Police Department served a search

warrant on Carlos Martinez in the City of San Antonio. The warrant was served on December l51b 2011, at Spyg]ass Hill Condominiums, 4212 Medical Rd unit 208

in San Antonio Texas. The warrant \VBS a result of a filed complaint of physical abuse against Carlos Alberto Martinez by stated she was the victim in a

domestic abuse situation. She added she was involved in a sexual relationship with a 50+ year old man (Martinez) slnce she was 14 year;; old. She stated Martinez

had developed and led her into a relationship :from about the time she was in the 5t1• grade.

Martinez was involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with . AcCording to tile explicit sexual acts engaged in by Martinez with were recorded

on video and still images shot from multiple cameras. Tbe photo docwncntation occurred in the State of Washington, both when was under the age of 18, as

well as after she turned 18. Martinez stored these images and vidoos on a c-0mputer. He carried them with him when he moved to Texas. As a result of he search

warrant,. San Antonio authorities recovered a laptop computer, computer drives, oomera.s and videos. Sexual images of   while she was under the age of 18 were

stored on his computers and discovered during the search. Some of the videos were taken in the residence· of Martinez prior to her being 18 years of age. Two

recordings were on VHS tapes. The videos were taken in a bathroom while was using the toilet and shower on separate occasions during both daylight andnighttime hours. The videos appeared to be recorded ftom twD clandestine locations with deliberate positioning to fully expose while she was nude witi:! the

focus on her genitals. stated she was not aware the videos were recorded and she did not give anyone permission to do so. She advised she became aware of he
